Due to uncontainable pubic clamor, we’ve once again set up (what might be) the annual JDFUN El Cheapo trip, to Park City, Utah!!  Those of you who were with us last year remember what a great time we all had – and after several requests, I am once again making the necessary arrangements!!

The prospective dates would be across the weekend of March 9 – 13; possibly arriving as early as Wednesday the 8th – this means three days off for five days of skiing – does it get better?…

…well, it might, when you see the lodging we’re checking into!!  As we did last year, I’m targeting $50/night/person for lodging, in the best accommodations possible!  As you can see from the pics below, this is nice livin’!!  I also do my best to set up flexible accommodation dates, as often people need to come and leave on different days – talk to me, and we’ll see what we can arrange!

For those of you who are new to all this, PARK CITY, UTAH, is about 30 mins out of Salt Lake City, and also home of SEVEN (count ‘em – SEVEN!) of the United States’ best ski resorts!!…

Alta Accolades

It's great to get feedback from our skiers! Every fall the major ski publications publish a Reader's Resort Survey, ranking the ski areas in the United States. The rankings we receive reflect our great variety of terrain, quality of snow, awesome views and our commitment to preserve the essence of skiing and to continue to improve upon the quality of the ski experience. Here's how we scored:

Ski Magazine (October 2005)

The readers of Ski Magazine annually rank ski areas in the United States in a variety of catagories. Our rankings for this past year are:

  • #1 Snow Quality
  • #1 Value
  • #4 Variety
  • #4 Challenge

Still not satisfied??  OK, here’s the whole selection!..

Utah Skiing

The most comprehensive guide to ski and snowboard areas in Utah. To begin, select an area from the list.

As with the other JDFUN ski trips, we don’t include airfare, but I will work on package deals for lift tickets, etc. once we get an idea of the final headcount!

So don’t just sit there, glaring at your monitor – drop me a line, and tell me you’re coming along!!
